McMurphy’s is nestled on oak-lined, historical Napoleon Avenue. We are conveniently located close to The French Quarter, Central Business District, Morial Convention Center, Audubon Park and Tulane University. Transportation is provided each day to your destination.

McMurphy’s is a tropical paradise with spacious rooms and large windows that look out onto the tree lined landscape. The atmosphere is perfect for daydreaming while enjoying the simple pleasures of a good life. Walking through the front door is just like coming home.

The porch looks like a picture in a magazine and it will entice you for morning coffee, afternoon lemonade and evening cocktails. The beauty and comfort of the surroundings are as engaging as the conversations that will linger on into the night. It’s a special place hard to resist even with the fun of the city so close by. Wicker chairs and rockers sit close to the stately columns that add a flirtatious atmosphere to the serene setting.

Breakfasts are a delight and range from fresh strawberry crepes with whipped cream to Eggs Benedict. The aroma of something sinful is always in the air. The cookie jar is never empty; the bread is always hot out of the oven and the next thought is often already on the next meal. On Sundays the tradition from the Plantation Days was to serve a Mimosa before the meal and McMurphy’s tradition is a huge Sunday brunch with Mimosas and Bloody Marys.
