New Orleans International Airport is a short 20-minute transfer to the French Quarter. The rate is a flat $28 for two riders or $12 per person. United is our recommendation. Simply call from the airport and request a United Taxi at 522-9771. Or, there will be a line of taxis outside the terminal and take the first one available. United gives us great service and knows the area well.

Railway Station

The Amtrak Station is located at 1001 Loyola Avenue and is a very short distance from our bed and breakfast. Simply call United at 522-9771 or walk outside the station where taxis are readily available. This is a metered fare and will be no more than $10.

Limosuine Transfers

Directions from I-10 East/Greater New Orleans Airport

Follow I-10 to the CBD (Central Business District)
Continue along I-10 past downtown ~ Be careful not to exit off I-10 E
Exit at Esplanade Avenue ~ Exit 236-A
Take a right at the light at the end of exit onto Esplanade Avenue
Follow Esplanade up approximately .7 mile. ~ Take a left at Dauphine
(Look for Circle K on the corner of Dauphine).
Maison DuBois is located at 1419 Dauphine. Ring the bell on the left- hand side of the front porch.
All French Quarter sights and attractions are a short walk away so
use of an automobile is not necessary.

The French Quarter

Maison DuBois is conveniently located in the lower Quarter along Esplanade Avenue and is an easy walk from all attractions. The riverfront streetcar is a great way to travel from one end of the Quarter to the other. We ask that guests take a taxi if they are out late for the evening. It’s inexpensive, quick and guarantees us all a good night’s sleep.

Cancellation Policies

We hope that you will not have to cancel your reservation but it is important to understand our policy. Unlike hotels, with hundreds of rooms, we do not overbook. Therefore, we need ample time to rebook your reservation and hope you can understand the important need for this policy. This policy allows us to stay in business.

Deposit Policy:

One night’s deposit is required to confirm a reservation. The balance is due upon arrival. Change in your plans must be made ten (10) days prior to your arrival. No refunds for departures earlier than confirmed.
Cancellation prior to ten (10) days refundable minus $25 cancellation fee. Reservations made mess than 10 days prior to a scheduled visit require advance payment and is not refundable upon cancellation.
Special Events: Payment to Maison DuBois sixty (60) days prior to your arrival. Deposit of one night upon confirmation of original reservation.
REFUNDS for cancellation within sixty (60) days prior to your arrival.
Special rates and minimum stays apply per confirmation.

NO SHOWS WILL BE BILLED FOR THE ENTIRE AMOUNT OF TIME CONFIRMED.

Maison DuBois offers fax services at a nominal charge. There are business centers located close by for more varied services.
